DROPS Alpaca is a magnificent 3-strands yarn, spun from 100% superfine alpaca, with an extra twist that provides a durable surface. The alpaca fiber is untreated, only washed, and without any chemical treatment before dyeing. This enhances the fiber's natural qualities and gives it a better shape and texture. Alpaca fiber has superior insulating properties compared to yarn , making garments made with this yarn warm and comfortable.
